The housing is made from high-strength aircraft-grade aluminum and is built for rugged, duty-ready use, while its low weight of approximately 16.9 oz (approx. 480 g) places minimal strain on the weapon system. With a variable magnification range of 4–12× and a 36 mm objective lens, it is ideally suited for medium-range hunting and precision applications. The first focal plane reticle maintains its proportions relative to the target across the entire magnification range, allowing for fast range estimation and accurate holdovers in MRAD at any magnification. Illuminated reticle options (including MR5 and MD5) are optimized for precise aiming and rapid target acquisition, with 10 brightness levels controlled via a side-mounted rotary dial on the left side. Off positions between each brightness setting allow quick access to preferred levels.
