It builds on EOTECH’s proven holographic technology and features a refined, fully aluminum hoodless design that enhances peripheral awareness without compromising rapid target acquisition with both eyes open. The sight is equipped with a left-side rotary dial for brightness control, adaptive automatic brightness adjustment, and a Shake Awake function that activates the system automatically when movement is detected. This new control concept allows for intuitive operation while maintaining full compatibility with EOTECH magnifiers such as the G30, G33, G43, or G45. The unit is based on the compact design of the EXPS3 and is powered by a single CR123 battery, just like its predecessor. The updated electronics provide an extended battery life of up to 1,000 hours, depending on the selected brightness level and ambient temperature. The EOTECH 552 XR308 is a holographic reflex sight with a night vision (NV) mode, specifically designed for use with night vision devices. In the past, such systems were only available to law enforcement and military users. Certain EOTECH models are still reserved for the U.S. military. Fortunately, military models such as the EOTECH 512, 552, XPS, and EXPS have been approved for the civilian market.
