Right of Withdrawal for Consumers

(A consumer is any natural person who concludes a legal transaction for purposes that are predominantly not attributable to their commercial or independent professional activity.)

Right of Withdrawal
You have the right to withdraw from this contract within fourteen days without giving any reason. The withdrawal period is fourteen days from the day:

• on which you or a third party designated by you, who is not the carrier, have taken possession of the goods if you have ordered one or more goods as part of a single order and these are delivered together;
• on which you or a third party designated by you, who is not the carrier, have taken possession of the last item if you have ordered multiple goods as part of a single order and they are delivered separately;
• on which you or a third party designated by you, who is not the carrier, have taken possession of the last partial shipment or the last item if you have ordered goods that are delivered in multiple partial shipments or pieces.

by means of a clear statement (e.g., a letter sent by post, fax, or email) about your decision to withdraw from this contract. You may use the attached sample cancellation form, but it is not mandatory.

To meet the withdrawal deadline, it is sufficient for you to send the notification of exercising your right of withdrawal before the withdrawal period expires.

Consequences of Withdrawal

If you withdraw from this contract, we will reimburse all payments we have received from you (except for additional costs resulting from your choice of a type of delivery other than the least expensive standard delivery offered by us) without undue delay and no later than fourteen days from the day we receive your notice of withdrawal. We will use the same payment method that you used for the original transaction unless explicitly agreed otherwise; under no circumstances will you be charged any fees for this reimbursement.

We may withhold reimbursement until we have received the returned goods or until you have provided proof that you have sent back the goods, whichever is earlier.

You must return or hand over the goods to us (IEA Mil-Optics GmbH, Gutenbergstr. 1-3, 72202 Nagold, Germany) without undue delay and in any case no later than fourteen days from the day on which you inform us of your withdrawal from this contract. The deadline is met if you send the goods before the fourteen-day period has expired.

You bear the direct costs of returning parcel-shippable goods as well as the direct costs of returning non-parcel-shippable goods. The estimated cost of returning non-parcel-shippable goods is approximately EUR [amount].

You are only liable for any diminished value of the goods if this loss in value is due to handling of the goods that is not necessary for checking their condition, properties, and functionality.

Exclusions & Expiry of the Right of Withdrawal

The right of withdrawal does not apply to contracts for:

• the supply of goods that are not prefabricated and for which an individual selection or specification by the consumer is decisive or which are clearly tailored to the consumer's personal needs;
• the supply of goods that can spoil quickly or whose expiration date would be exceeded soon;
• the supply of alcoholic beverages whose price was agreed upon at the time of contract conclusion but can be delivered no earlier than 30 days after contract conclusion and whose current value depends on market fluctuations beyond the entrepreneur’s control;
• the supply of newspapers, magazines, or illustrated periodicals, except for subscription contracts.

The right of withdrawal expires prematurely for contracts regarding:

• the supply of sealed goods that are not suitable for return due to health protection or hygiene reasons if their seal was removed after delivery;
• the supply of goods that, due to their nature, have been inseparably mixed with other goods after delivery;
• the supply of audio or video recordings or computer software in a sealed package if the seal was removed after delivery.
