The monocular night vision device with an integrated thermal imaging channel provides a fused image overlay, combining the advantages of both technologies in a single system. The image intensifier allows the user to move freely in darkness and perceive the surroundings almost like daylight (depending on tube performance and available ambient light). With the additional thermal channel, objects that stand out from their environment due to temperature differences can be detected much earlier—even without any residual light. With conventional image intensifiers, it is often necessary to activate an infrared illuminator under poor conditions. This makes the user easily detectable. This risk is minimized with fusion technology.

Another advantage of a device combining image intensifier and thermal imaging technology in one housing is the colored display of thermal signatures (via a display positioned behind the tube), as well as its compact and lightweight design. The F-ENVG is equipped as standard with Generation 2 tubes. For government users, U.S. Generation 3 tubes are also available.

The highly sensitive detector with a resolution of 640 × 512 provides excellent detail and increased detection range. With various modes such as Black/Hot, Target Enhancement, and Outline, the user can optimally adapt the device to different situations. With the external battery pack, an operating time of min. 8 hours up to 60 hours can be achieved. The weight of the monocular (without power supply) is under 380 g. A large exit pupil and a tube with either green or black-and-white image display allow for comfortable long-term use.

IEA Bino Bridge for NT940 / Mini-14 / MUM-14
The proven IEA bino bridge was developed to convert the NT940 or Mini-14 into a binocular system. The design focuses on optimal geometry, allowing full use of all adjustment ranges of the mount.
The high-quality CNC-machined aluminum arms, milled from solid material, perfectly match the NT940 housing and ensure a secure, wobble-free, and non-rotating fit.
Features
Enables conversion of monocular devices into a bino system
Optimized geometry for maximum adjustment range
Precision-machined 7075 aluminum construction
Secure fit without movement or twisting
Rotating System
The well-known rotating system (as used on the PVS-31) is fully retained. This allows:
Sideways articulation of the monoculars while deployed
Stowing the monoculars close to the helmet when flipped up
This results in:
A low profile silhouette
Reduced leverage, improving comfort during extended use
Optional Service
On request, the binocular system can be:
Collimated in-house
Individually marked (monoculars and bridge) for easy separation and reassembly
Specifications
Material: 7075 aluminum
Weight: 119 g
Mount options: Available with dovetail or bayonet interface
⚠ Note:
