Power is supplied by a single CR123 lithium battery, offering a runtime of up to 600 hours at brightness level 12 under normal temperature conditions. The XPS2-0 features a fixed mount. Range Performance A laser rangefinding binocular is only suitable for demanding long-range shooters if it can reliably deliver precise measurements on challenging, distant targets. Equipped with a 905 nm Class 1 laser and an exceptionally tight laser beam divergence of just 1.5 × 0.1 MRAD (1.8 × 0.1 MRAD for the 8×42 model), the VECTOR X is capable of measuring targets at distances of up to 4,000 meters — setting new standards in the civilian market segment. Optical System With its bright, color-neutral image, high contrast, and wide field of view, the VECTOR X is the ideal rangefinding binocular for situations where every detail matters. Hunters in particular will appreciate the outstanding optical performance, allowing precise target identification even under difficult lighting conditions. Two MRAD-based reticles are available for the VECTOR X. The choice of reticle primarily depends on whether the device will also be used with the optionally available Range Enhancers. These unique add-on lenses screw directly into the objective lenses of the VECTOR X and increase magnification by 40%. The MSR-DMR reticle is calibrated for both magnification levels and is therefore recommended for users intending to operate the VECTOR X with Range Enhancers. Applied Ballistics Elite Included as Standard The VECTOR X comes standard with Applied Ballistics Elite. With more than 800 selectable projectiles, Applied Ballistics Elite has rapidly become the preferred ballistic solver among many Western military units. Immediately after a range measurement, the VECTOR X displays complete ballistic corrections on its bright Active Matrix OLED display. Applied Ballistics Elite calculates elevation correction as well as two wind correction values. These complete ballistic solutions are displayed simultaneously in a clear and organized format on a single screen, significantly reducing engagement time for the shooter. In addition, seamless integration with third-party devices and applications allows the VECTOR X to connect via Bluetooth to Kestrel weather meters, Calypso wind meters, Garmin ballistic watches, and mobile ballistic apps. The same thread can also be used for mounting honeycomb anti-reflection filters commonly used by sniper teams. High-quality Tenebraex honeycomb filters are available separately. • The VECTOR X is the first rangefinding binocular capable of operating with rechargeable 18650 batteries. A corresponding extended battery compartment cap is included as standard. • The included objective lens covers are designed for rapid installation and operation. They rotate a full 360° and effectively protect the lenses against scratches. • The VECTOR X is supplied with a mounting plate featuring a universal ¼” thread for easy tripod attachment. Dedicated mounting plates from Area 419 and Really Right Stuff (RRS) are also available as optional accessories.
