The IEA CPNVG is based on the design of the L3Harris GPNVG, but in a civilian/commercial version.

Unlike the military version equipped with high-end Generation 3 tubes, the IEA CPNVG utilizes high-performance Generation 2+ tubes from Photonis, which provide:
