Product Description
The new THWS (Thermal Hybrid Weapon Sight) combines two proven and widely used technologies:
- A conventional red dot / reflex sight
- An uncooled thermal imaging camera
The system overlays the thermal image onto the real-world view, enabling reliable target detection even in poor visibility or low-light conditions.
Mounting & Durability
- Equipped with a recoil-absorbing Picatinny mount
- Quick and easy installation on all firearms with Picatinny rail (subject to legal regulations)
- Recoil resistance: up to 1200 g
Operating Modes
The THWS offers four selectable modes:
- Red Dot Only
- Thermal Mode
- Fusion Mode
- Outline Mode
→ Adaptable to all lighting and temperature conditions
Fusion Technology
A key feature is the fusion channel with Automatic Gain Function:
- Highlights warm objects
- Suppresses colder background areas
→ Ensures a clear and uncluttered image, with critical targets standing out prominently
The reticle can be adjusted for:
- Bright daylight environments
- Use with night vision devices
→ Provides a combined image of thermal and residual light intensification
Performance
- Sensor resolution: 384 × 288
- Effective range: approx. 450 m
- Frame rate: 50 Hz → smooth, lag-free image
Additional features:
- 2x digital zoom
- Optional 3x optical magnifier (flip-to-side) for extended range
