Product Description

The GBRS Group HYDRA Mount V2 provides a 2.91" (73.9 mm) optical centerline height, enabling faster target acquisition regardless of additional equipment such as ear protection/communication headsets, gas masks/CBRN gear, or night vision devices, which can interfere with traditional mounts.

The elevated optic position promotes a more athletic, upright shooting posture, allowing the user to maintain a straight spine and improving body armor presentation. This “heads-up” shooting style enhances processing speed and situational awareness.


Design & Functionality

The unique and patented design features a raised MIL-STD-1913 (Picatinny) platform, allowing direct attachment of accessories such as lights, optics, thermal devices, and aiming systems.

It is especially suited for compact PDW/SMG platforms, where rail space is limited but mounting both a light and an aiming device remains essential.

Variants for AIMPOINT® and Trijicon® include dedicated cutouts for improved cable management.
