Product Description

The NT1431 is a state-of-the-art binocular night vision device – robust, modern, and highly cost-efficient.

With the A2 version, the housing has been further optimized in terms of:

  • Functionality
  • Structural stability

New features include:

  • Improved auto-gating function
  • Manual gain control
  • Integrated IR illuminator with internal status indicator (built into the bridge)

The weight of the NT1431 A2 is below 500 g, depending on configuration.


Construction & Optics

The lightweight, fiber-reinforced housing is extremely durable.

High-quality components ensure excellent image performance:

  • PVS-14 eyepieces and objectives
  • High image sharpness
  • Individual diopter adjustment

Tube Options & Performance

Upon request, the device is available with the latest Photonis 4G+ Onyx tubes (up to approx. 2400 FOM).

Thanks to the manual gain function, brightness and amplification can be adjusted via a push-turn control knob.

Additional features include:

  • Deactivatable, sensor-controlled shut-off when flipped up
  • Integrated IR illuminator with status indicator

Optical Quality (MIL-SPEC Components)

As one of the first devices in Europe (also available for civilian use), the NT1431 A2 features:

Assembly & Quality Control

The NT1431 A2 is assembled according to strict US standards and collimated using advanced testing equipment.

The optional battery pack also features:

Operation

  • Battery compartment can be opened and closed without tools

Flip-Up Shut-Off

  • Automatic shut-off when flipped up
  • Delayed activation when flipped down

→ Prevents unintentional illumination of the user


Binocular Rotating Design

For enhanced comfort:

  • Monoculars can be rotated sideways onto the helmet when flipped up
  • Reduces lever effect and strain
  • Individual pods can be flipped up independently when not needed

A stop screw ensures that the pods return precisely to their original position when flipped down.

Depending on the application, the device can be equipped with:
