Discontinued – Successor: F-COD PRO Product Description The thermal clip-on device for existing night vision systems creates an image fusion overlay, combining the advantages of both technologies in a single system. The image intensifier (night vision) allows the user to move freely in darkness and perceive the environment almost like daylight (depending on tube performance and available ambient light). The thermal channel enables detection of objects based on temperature differences, even earlier and without any residual light. Operating Modes The F-COD offers three main modes: Low Light Highlight Outline → Each mode can be individually adjusted to suit user preferences Image Optimization AGC (Automatic Gain Control): Automatically adapts the thermal sensor to varying temperature conditions, ensuring optimal contrast between target and background Brightness control: Automatic (via light sensor) Manual adjustment possible → Prevents overexposure and ensures optimal image quality Fusion Technology Advantages With conventional night vision devices, an IR illuminator is often required under poor conditions, making the user easily detectable. → Fusion technology minimizes this risk, as thermal imaging works independently of light sources Performance Thermal sensor resolution: 640 × 512 → High level of detail and extended detection range Multiple display options including: Black Hot Target Enhancement Outline → Adaptable to a wide range of operational scenarios Flexibility Compatible with almost all night vision devices Can be used as a cost-effective upgrade Optional: Eyepiece attachment → enables use as a handheld thermal device Available variants: F-COD (standard) F-COD EB (external battery version) Scope of Delivery Delivered in a durable hard case Included: Battery cap for: 3V rechargeable batteries (17335, 8500, 18650) 3V CR123 batteries 1× CR123 (3V) battery included ⚠ Note: Mounting system is not included and must be ordered separately depending on the device
